Hi, I'm Jackie!
I am a Registered Dietitian and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. I am deeply committed to empowering women to reclaim control over their well-being through functional nutrition.

My journey into functional nutrition is deeply personal. After years of dealing with "mystery symptoms", I eventually developed and was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. While conventional medicine played an important role in managing my condition, I wanted more than symptom relief. I wanted to understand the root cause of my health issues.

I invested in my health and began working with a functional medicine practitioner. By taking a holistic, root cause approach - I was able to improve my autoimmune condition and all of those seemingly unrelated symptoms I had been struggling with for years.

I understand the frustration many women face, where symptoms are often treated in isolation rather than as part of a larger, interconnected system. My mission is to bridge this gap by providing personalized, evidence-based nutrition care that addresses the unique needs of each individual, taking into account their unique diet, health history, and lifestyle.
Absence of a diagnosed condition does not equal health. Conventional medicine provided me with a diagnosis and treatment options, but it couldn't tell me why my condition developed in the first place.
I earned my degree in dietetics from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, followed by my dietetic internship at University of Michigan Hospital. During my time working in a hospital setting, I gained valuable experience using nutrition to help treat various health conditions.

After dealing with autoimmunity, I felt a strong desire to pursue specialized training in integrative and functional nutrition, where I became certified in addressing complex, chronic health conditions through a root-cause approach.

I now combine my conventional dietetics training with a functional approach to help women identify underlying factors contributing to their symptoms and address them with food and lifestyle to help them thrive!
